Render of Apollo era Mission Operations and Control Room, MOCR-2. It was modeled according to
the restoration photos. It shows the state of the MOCR for Apollo 15 mission.
The model is very detailed, console screens are showing correct data on them. Each of the buttons has the correct label on them. Lighting is modeled accurately with dozens of light sources, some of them incandescent, others fluorescent.
Behind the consoles is Visitors Viewing Area.
The Apollo Mission Operations Control Room, located in Building 30 at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, was the central hub for controlling all Apollo missions, from launch to splashdown. It's now a National Historic Landmark and a key part of the restored Apollo Mission Control Center, allowing visitors to experience the environment where the historic moon landing was orchestrated according to Space Center Houston.
