About the weather stations
Weather stations shown on this web page are designed and programmed by myself. There are multiple types of weather stations in the development right now. Most of them have been under the testing for couple years now. We aim to provide the most accurate weather measurement data as possible.
Long range wireless weather station
Long range wireless weather station is in the most advanced stage of our experimental sensors. It consists of one receiver (master) with wifi, and multiple slaves (transmitters, sensors). You can connect as many slaves as you want to one master.
Transmitter is solar powered, with battery that is sufficient for months of work without any sunlight. Their range is about 5km line-of-sight. With obstructions, like trees and buildings the range is about 1km.
LAN/PoE weather station
Another weather station that's in high stage of the development is LAN/PoE weather station. It has all the functions of the wireless wifi weather station, and more, like rain gauge and anemometer.
Like with wireless weather station, you can add as many slaves as you want. They connect with regular ethernet cable.
With all our stations, the data is sent automatically to our server where you can access and view it in charts, tables or any other way you like.
Measurement accuracy of all our sensors is very good, under the condition that the sensor is properly placed inside an adequate weather shelter, like Stevenson screen.

If you wish to be a part of our experimental weather sensor network, feel free to send me an e-mail. While the weather stations are in the testing phase, you can get them for only the price of the components, but under a condition that you must provide an adequate shelter for them, for example Stevenson screen.
